Most of all valuable items stolen

Hi,
I had horrible experience with this movers.
From Los Angeles to Santa Clara 1-bed move they took $2000.
But even after that when I received my items, most of them were stolen/broken.
Moves took almost 12 hours to pack simple 1-bed stuff. This is because moving company pays worker by hours and workers takes forever.
Stolen Items:
---------------
- Brand new Wii Video game with accessories
- Camcorder with accessories, my min-DVDs
- Battery Charger
Broken Items:
----------------
- TV
- Almost all glass frames
- Tables
When I did put a claim, they said they will give only based on weight of item. Example Wii video game weight is 2Lb, so total I will get is around $2 !!!!
I paid premium to deliver my goods in 2-3 days, and with these stolen items and broken items, they did not honot any claim.
Finally after lot of discussions, instead of $2000 damage, I was paid only $400.
Make sure to take additional insurance not per pound, but for items....or you are sure to let go your valuables.
