Neighbors Moving company based in Kent, WA was a top moving company for my sister, brother, and myself in the past year! They were reasonably priced, very careful with our belongings, and very personable group of people....overall great service provided. Since we all had wonderful experiences with them, I recommended my friend and co-worker to use them for her moving needs this past week.
Her moving date was today, August 25, 2009 and they gave her a window between 10am and 2pm. They failed to let her know that they'd give her a call a 1/2 hour prior to arriving at the destination to help her plan her day better. She spent the entire day waiting for them and at 2pm, they did not show up, nor did they give her a call to let her know that they were running late. Instead, she had to call them to find out the status of their arrival. She contacted many individuals, one who was named JR, the Dispatch Operational Manager who gave her nothing but attitude and made her feel stressed rather than offering solutions. The receptionist at the company was also not able to provide any additional customer service to my friend and referred her back to the Dispatch Operational Manager.
What happened to their customer service? No courtesy call, no apologies, no compensation offered? Judging from the experience my friend had, I absolutely will NOT BE RECOMMENDING Neighbors Moving and Storage company to anymore of my friends and family!
