I unfortunately did not have a pleasant experience with this company at all. The estimate I was given over the phone was much more than what I was told at the end of the move. When the movers had arrived at my house, somehow I got conned into signing their contract saying they had arrived at 12:45 p.m. when it was in fact an hour later. I had some of my stuff in bags....clothes and whatnot, nothing fragile. I was told that they couldn't move anything unless is was in boxes and/or wrapped....and I was not told this over the phone and I was charged extra for it. When my stuff arrived at the destination of my new residence and I was told the price I was at (not including how much it was to actually move my stuff into my apartment), it was much more than the estimate that I had agreed to in order to move my stuff. When I was discussing the situation and the price with the manager, Joe, I was given the runaround, given half-assed reasons why I was charged for things I was not told I was going to be charged for and was told that our stuff was to be held until I paid the amount that was given. Not only that, Joe had threatened me over the phone that he would make me and family's life miserable (it was our stuff that was being moved) if we didn't pay the amount. My experience is that this company tries to swindle with extra costs and misinformation when you look at it closely.. Not only that they are unprofessional to the point where they resort to threats and namecalling if challenged. I have no doubt in my mind that I will NEVER use this company again and will seek to warn others thinking of working with them.
