The move was completed within an exact and specific window that met all requirements. The move included a piano and furniture from an Independent Living Facility which did not have a separate freight elevator and thus had to be completed in a window of 1 to 3:30 pm and it was. Furthermore the move had to be on the specific date chosen because that was the only date my family had available since our mother had passed away after we set up the move and this was the date we were available to direct the movers.
The movers were very careful with all of the objects they moved and very respectful of our situation. The moving crew of three were very courteous, efficient and friendly. They were easy to talk to but did not let that get in the way of getting the work accomplished.
There was less to move than originally anticipated because the family had already divided up and removed many of our Mom's belongings - whereas originally it was our Mom that was to be moved with all of her belongings. Therefore the job took about 2 hours less than originally anticipated but the movers took that in stride and completed the move cheerfully and efficiently.
I was particularly impressed with the movers' handling of the piano, - they used both muscle and knowledge to move the piano correctly. This piano has been in our family since I was a little girl and is an excellent piano. The movers were very careful in wrapping the piano and making that it was moved without any weight being applied on the front legs which are for stability and maneuverability but not meant for weight bearing.
