Watch out if you like to keep your belongings.
My contract included shipping of three cars and household goods overseas with two 40ft conainers, door to door, for the cost shown above.
One of the cars was delivered to me with electrical system damage, oil stains all over the interior and a broken suspension on the front. The insurance has not paid a dime. After I was forced to pay the total quoted amount for the shipment, the 2nd container arrived, and I noticed that a lot of my belongings were missing. This was July 1st, 2011. Months later, IMS admitted to not having shipped these items, but instead having them located in one of their warehouses. After many not so nice emails, these things were then supposedly shipped and cleared through customs into one of the warehouses of their local agent here. If one thinks that I would receive my goods at this point, that is not the case. IMS want another $10'000.00 beforehand, before they deliver !
This story is now going to court for extortion.
I hope my story here helps you all out there to avoid these people, and to take your business elsewhere.
