I used Go Movers once before and despite the less than favorable experience, (the movers showed up with an extra man and charged me, despite quoting a significantly lower price for three men,) I decided to use them again because their rates were lower than other companies. Well, now I know why.
For my second move, Go Movers DID NOT SHOW UP. 30 minutes after they were scheduled to arrive I called to see what was going on. I was informed that our move had been canceled because they were not able to confirm the evening before. Firstly, I had already confirmed the move two days before. Secondly, they wrote down the wrong contact information, (despite the fact that they had called my cell two days earlier,) then blamed me for their mistake. Thirdly, they had two other viable methods of communication: my e-mail address and work number, but did not bother using either or those to confirm the move.
When I called to complain, the operator (Max) was beyond rude; he literally mocked me, saying, "we did have the right number, ha!" was completely nonchalant about the situation and lied about leaving messages on my work phone. You couldn't pay me to use Go Movers again...worst service experience I have ever had.
