On October 21st I hired G and G best transportation to move me. I had hired another company who the week before the move called to change the quote. Of course they wanted to charge us more so I cancelled my appointment with them. I ended up frantically trying to find another company with only one week to go. When I called G and G best transportation I was given a quote right over the phone. I described all the articles I wanted moved and was told that they charged by the piece. When I got the quote I booked them right away. I had gotten several other estimates that day and G and G best transportation beat all the others by a noticeable amount.
When moving day arrived, I was very nervous. I had many antiques and collectibles that needed to be moved. Some were very awkward and quite heavy. Tony and his crew arrived on time. It was a little rainy that day and he asked if it was still alright to do the move. He said he would put blankets over the furniture. They showed me the contract and examined all the items that were to be moved. The crew of three then immediately began to move my items. Before I knew it most of them were in the truck. My grandfather clock was one of the last items moved. It was covered and carefully placed in the truck. I was amazed at how they moved each piece so effortlessly. You could tell by their conversations as they decided the best way to move each piece that they were very experienced in what they were doing. I was very impressed. I began to relax and feel good about my decision to hire this company for my move.
When my furniture arrived at its new home they proceeded to place all the items exactly where I wanted them. Several times I changed my mind and needed a piece turned another way or moved to the other corner. They were always polite and said it was no problem. When I set up my clock I was so excited when I heard it chime for the first time. It had arrived safely and was in perfect working order. All my things arrived in good condition and moving day was not as bad as I had imagined it would be thanks to Tony and his crew. I would recommend this company to my friends. I was impressed with their professionalism and courtesy. It was a pleasure to deal with this company. Thank you for taking the stress out of my moving.
