My hope is that others will never be in the same situation we are. At first G&G was extremely nice, and professional offering us discounts for stair ways and a double pickup locations. Then apparently it is common for their employees to go on 3 week vacations! The owner when this all started and then the woman who was in charge of our case when our stuff was in route. We have proof that we were over charged! Our original estimate was $1400 for 537cuft, then AFTER the truck was loaded they told us that we had 1127 cuft, and were told to pay $3416, they did offer us some discounts for supplies. They said both drop-offs were impossible so we had to "shuttle" which was going to be an extra $300 but the drivers could not help us unload because they HAD to be in Washington. We rented a u-haul for $100. Meet at a truck stop where EVERYTHING including the broken shelve(still waiting on a claims sheet) fit into the 17” 855cuft u-haul! They offered us $500 ONLY if we would sign a silence clause. We were over charged $870! They broke the law, multiple times, and we have reason to believe unpacked and repacked one of our boxes without notifying us. We are currently in claim with them, and if you have any information that would be helpful please contact me. And for yourself please DO NOT use this company, yes they did load our stuff in San Diego and drive our stuff from San Diego to Portland but we still ended up having to rent and drive a u-haul and move all of our stuff, ourselves with the bruises to prove it, all for 3516$! NOT worth it!
