After our movers didn't show up an hour after they were scheduled, we called Fox Moving & Storage, LLC. Despite the fact that we had confirmed our appointment and received an email with a confirmation number, they had not scheduled us. The woman we spoke to on the phone scrambled to find someone, and two hours later, they showed up. One of the movers was very professional, but the other was terrible. He was out of shape and complained the whole time about how he hates his job, it was too hot, and (the most annoying) how we have too much stuff. The movers didn't have a vehicle so we had to drive them to our new place to unload, which felt strange, but we did it because we had no choice. After the move was complete, I received a call from the woman I spoke to originally. The movers took three hours longer than they had anticipated and we had to pay the extra fee. I understand that we have to pay for our services, but had both of our movers been professional and efficient we wouldn't have had such a high bill. When I received the final phone call informing me of additional fees, I was driving. I asked the woman to please email me an invoice and I would pay it as soon as I received it. I was told she couldn't do that and I needed to pay immediately. I had to give her my credit card number over the phone while I was driving. In general, the whole experience felt unprofessional, unorganized, and at times, shady.
