First made contact in early May. Set a pickup date based on when I wanted the shipment to arrive. In order for the shipment to arrive on June 15th, my consultant recommended a pickup date of the 5th of June. He did say that deliveries could occur to the warehouse a few days before or a few days after the scheduled date. I thought about this for a few days and decided to call back to reschedule the pickup. We talked for about 30 minutes and decided that a May 31st pickup would ensure delivery to the warehouse by June 11th which would give me the flexibility to have it deliver from the warehouse on the 15th of June, aFriday. I was told I would be called by an agent two days prior to pickup to schedule a time. 48 hours came and went with no call. Call to Door to Door and talked to Customer Service. Apparently they never told the agent the date changed. After some wrangling, the agent did show up on the correct day. I was then told I would be called the day the shipment arrived at the warehouse. Once again, the scheduled day came and went with no call. A call to customer service again and they said it should arrive in two days and they would be sure to call. Again, no call. On the 15th of June (4 days after the due date) another call to customer service. A call back and they said they could deliver on Wednesday, never mind I just started a new job, so I had to settle for Saturday delivery with a PROMISE they would call 48 hours prior to schedule a time. Guess what? No call. A call to customer service again to nail down a time. Luckily the delivery driver was on top of it and showed up on time on Saturday, shipment intact. The thing about this company is that is everyone is so NICE and apologetic and willing to helpbut they really are not on top of it. If you are willing to put in the calls and are VERY flexible on dates, it's worth the hassle because the price is so good. My shipment, 2 crates was $2400 compared to $4700 quote from Pods and $7800 from Upack.
