It was hard to communicate with these movers that came to the residence. They spoke Russian and only one could communicate back of the three.
They were on time and worked quickly. They did not make clear that they would only accept cash or the same charge previously used at the final pay out. I had a bank check that they would not accept.
They had broken some items. They broke a new shelving unit and they thought they could get the part that was needed to fix it and would send it to me in 3-5 days. It has been 3 months, still nothing.
Other items were damaged as well. During the move, I had the chance to ride behind the truck for a bit. It was driving so fast I did not want to keep up. I do not think that they drove with care considering it was my stuff in the truck (not their truck BTW-it was a rented truck). Their only concern was getting the job done.
They damaged the walls at the new apartment as well. This is hard to understand as the width of the walkway is quite wide.
They charged me extra for a flight of stairs that was one step over the free flight allowed.
On the good side, they used some package material of their own but did not charge for it. However, they threw away some packaging and protective covers that I had bought for the mattresses. I do not know if I could have saved them for another move. Which I will not be calling them to do.
