I had lived in the same house in Jersey City, NJ for the last 37 years. But the kids have flown the nest and it was time for my husband and I to downsize from our 5-bedroom massive house. We decided to move to Birmingham, AL where my husband grew up. I asked around for a good moving company and many of our friends suggested Alpha & omega moving. When I called them, they seemed very friendly and helpful. They gave us a reasonable quote and we finalized the details. The movers were supposed to arrive at 9:00 am on the moving day. They arrived 20 minutes early. We are old and senile so packing everything on our own wasn’t an option. The movers took on the job seriously. It took them just 3 hours to pack up all our belongings. We weren’t taking everything to Alabama. Some of the stuffs were put in storage by the movers. They moved the rest to our new flat in Birmingham. It was a very pleasant moving experience.
