This company is completely unprofessional, unresponsive and looks for any excuse to point their finger at someone else for their responsibility. After 4 months and more than 25 phone calls, emails, certified letters and even the contract company used to off-load Island Movers contacting them, they will not take responsibility for the damages they caused while loading our processions. Each and every item damaged was photographed even before it was unloaded, yet they still refuse to compensate us. So I warn anyone considering to use them not to.
When I call to ask about the claim process, Denise tells me the claims department is handling it week after week after week. Today Denise is not there and I was told they don't even have a claims department by who answered the phone. Inexcusable. Rochelle called me back took it upon herself to hang up on me today after I gave her a deadline to resolve the situation stating my demand is a threat. Sorry Rochelle, children threaten each other...adults and business has consequences. This review is to warn other customers of how your company runs what is left of its business. So I do hope the owners of your company read this and when they see why the company they have entrusted people as Denise and Rochelle to operate fails they will know why.
Our move was over $14,000. We only claimed $537.00. A good reputation can not be bought for $537, but a bad one just was. Funny how a simple act of dishonesty will be repeated again and again. Any potential customer that reads this, feel free to contact me if you would like an update if they have ever compensated us. My instinct tells me, they will not.
