I am still struggling with this company. I am moving from Chicago to Virginia, and Jared Best is the name of the Sales person i'm still struggling with, who's phone number is 1-630-247-6475 (cell). He waltzes into our home and gives us a great sales pitch. We interview 4 other moving companies, and while his price isn't the cheapest, after repeated inquiries to the other companies, Jared "guarantees" a delivery date the matches our needs. So everything seems great until a week before our pack date, when Crystal Nava (630-832-4114), who I've learned is the wife of one of their delivery guys, calls and gives a "courtesy" call to let us know our delivery date will be a week late. Nice courtesy (insert sarcasm here). Anyway, I call Jared, and he supposedly makes some phone calls and states that our delivery date is met, and everything should be ok. well, the packers come to our condo and what do you know, they have no idea that they are supposed to pack. Keep in mind that I am paying over $6000 for this move, and it was clearly stated that we wanted everything professionally packed and insured for $60,000. I was more than happy to pay accordingly as long as our terms were met. Needless to say the movers were grossly unprepared, and it literally took 12 hours for them to get our 1100 sq ft condo packed. They were self admittedly not "packers" and to complicate matters, they were completely not aware of the addresses of the two additional stops that we had paid for. This was an issue b/c the trailer was 13'4" and with all the viaducts in chicago, there were limited routes the truck could take to get to our storage facilities. Needless to say i was extremely frustrated at the incompetence of Jared Best (who's name is a cruel irony), as well as the entire staff at All Chicagoland. Anyway, as I type this, our property is still in chicago, and we are sitting in an empty condo in Virginia, waiting for a date. In summary, their prices stink (i didn't even mention the fact that they are charging us an ADDITIONAL $700 for "unexpected" packing costs), they are full of false promises, or as some would describe LIES, and have no redeeming qualities that I can think of. I am still expecting my property to arrive, and I can only hope and pray that it comes this MONTH, and hopefully undamaged. I will update this review when and IF i ever get my furniture and other property.
