Great move for me!
Hello there, I usually don?t post reviews on line but these guys deserve it.
We started looking for a moving company a month before the move.
America's Best Movers Van Lines was among the first companies I called. From the first conversation they sounded different from other companies. Their rep sounded less like a salesman he was relaxed, not pushy and very informative.
He gave me the most information about moving in general and explained ABM's van lines policy. His quote wasn't the cheapest but very reasonable.
After reviews several companies we decided to go with these guys.
The day of the pickup a big track came to our house, one manager and 5 movers. The manager sat down with me and we went over the contract. He was very patient and answered all my questions. The movers worked quickly and quietly. Most of our stuff was packed but they packed our TV for us. It was amazing. It looked like we just got it from the store.
All the furniture was wraped with blankets or pads, and was tied down in the truck. I have never seen anyone stack a truck so tight. Everything went in and didn't move an inch.
The whole loading took like 3 hours, me and my husband just looked at them work.
As we saw them leave we arranged the house and next morning we got a taxi to the airport to catch our flight to Pennsylvania.
We were told that the move will take between 6-10 days. And so it was, on the 7th day we got a call that our truck is close. In the evening we met them at our new home. 3 movers took everything inside the house. They even took some things upstairs to the 2nd floor.
Everything went smooth and all our belongings came in one piece.
The reason I'm writing here is because this move looked to me like a very big headache, but this company made it look so simple and easy. Simple and to the point.
