Pre-Move
In soliciting bids for my move, StarCity was the only moving company who routinely answered my phone calls - I always got a live person, who was very courteous, whereas the other companies I was getting bids from rarely if ever picked up on the first call, and we engaged in constant email volleys. While I understand these are small companies and are constantly on the road, I got increasingly anxious as the date approached and I had barely any contact to speak of, so having someone who I knew would be there put me at ease.
Moving Day
They showed up not with 3 guys, as we had agreed, but with 4, and didn't charge me anything extra. The guys moved my entire apartment into a large truck in less than 2 hours. Unlike previous moves, I never had to look at my watch- StarCity stuck to its flat rate.
I would definitely recommend StarCity for any move - it was a totally painless and even pleasant experience! |
