I moved once before with Graebel Van Lines from Texas to California and they did a great job for me but it was very expensive and I could not afford that type of move since I am a single mother and my last move was paid for by my company and this move was paid for by me. I did get several quotes from different companies, some were way too low and some were outrageous, americas moving service was pretty much on the higher end but definately within my range. I spoke with a Chris Rivera who walked me through the process and even emailed him a few of the estimates I got from people who visited my house. We established a price and set the date up. I was told I would recieve a call from the driver or dispatcher 24 to 48 hours before my pick up day which happened 2 days before from Tim their driver telling me what time he would be there to pick me up. The day of they arrived early in the morning and the three of them wrapped up all my furniture and did an inventory list of everything and it took them less then 4 hours and they left to weigh the truck with my belongings in it. Now keep in mind, my original quote was $3860 and when Josh Robinson called from the office the next morning, he told me that not only was my weight less by a 1000 lbs. deducting $200 from my bill but they packed less boxes because I had packed more then I thought I would be able to. In all, this for me was just as good as my last move and the price was far better. Tim pulled up in the big semi 8 days later to deliver and 1 box was crushed, thankfully it was bathroom items like towels and such. Very happy with americas moving service and our new location in Missouri, will recommend this company.
