| Review: | Demetrius called me today to discuss my online order for a quote. One of the companies offered me the following: 1400 lbs. (not standard according to the other two companies, including Demetrius) for $1045 without packing and $1266 with packing, and the other company offered me 2000 lb. (which is standard) for $1350 without packing and another $210 for packing. Neither of these companies had great reviews on this website nor another. So I filled out America's Moving Services online form. Demetrius called and told me 2000 was standard minimum, yet he would give it to me for $1000 since the form I filled out only came to 980 lbs. (the other companies said that I had more than 1300 lbs.). When Demetrius quoted me $1350 for 1000 lbs., I told him to give me a 1500 lb. estimate. He said it was $1555 without packing. Yet, with packing included, it would run me $1900. Demetrius was unable to defend himself or company in some instances. I don't know how long he has been working at AMS, but he's a poor salesperson.

| Response: | wow, this is one of the most ludicrous reviews I have ever encountered. No offense but this person is complaining about our firm and she did not even use our services, perhaps a polite, no thank you your price is too high would have been sufficient. The other company this woman is speaking of is an F rated Better Business Bureau company which is most likely the reason for the low ball quote and I can assure her of one thing, if she thinks another company is moving her nearly 2,100 miles for $1,300 when the smallest Uhaul would cost $1700.00 before fuel costs, then she is not only sadly mistaken, but in for the ride of her life. Unfortunately in moving there are too many companies that quote very low prices and then once you are on their truck and at their mercy the price will almost definately double, if not triple but either way she is in for trouble. I can assure you all that this client will be on here at the end of the month complaining about the F rated company that she chose and then they turned around and ripped her off. I know one thing for certain, moving is not a cheap proposition and the ones that search for cheap are usually the ones who get burned and that is quite unfortunate. regardless, we wish Marcia the best of luck with the company she chose and hope that their F rating is just a fluke and that she is the 1 lucky customer that will get moved for the unbelievably low quote. Next time I look for a new vehicle, I will be sure to go into the Bentley dealership and then complain about how expensive they are, and all I can afford is a motor scooter. Good luck.
