| Review: | First of all, this was one of 3 moves we have done and it was the largest of them all and turned out to be the easiest. We had some walk in estimates from Paul Arpin and Graebel Van Lines and their estimates were for 18,000 pounds and 17,500 pounds respectively and their price was much higher. We requested a quote based on 18,000 pounds due to the walkthroughs and their quote was very reasonable and considering their reviews and ratings obviously we chose americas moving services. When the driver and packers arrived they told me up front that it looked like we had more like 20-22,000 pounds based on tehir experience and they offered us a revised estimate based ont he 21,000 pounds which we declined and decided to go on actual weight of the truck due to the in house estimates and they were national van lines so we trusted their expertise. The other van lines were either way off or just plain out liars because when americas weighed my items it was 20,720 pounds and that was 3,720 pounds more than the other in house quotes. americas in the end truly helped us out of a potentially bad situation and instead of charging us the agreed upon $2,232.00 they only charged us an additional $1,500.00 more which was a huge savings and we appreciate it very much. Great and honest company americas moving services. they also did a wonderful job with my move. high recommendations for us. |
