| Subject: | A Nightmares to Deal with Liars |
| Review: | When we scheduled our move with the the company, we were told by the representative that it usually takes roughly 2 to 5 days for the items to arrive after the first available delivery date. Nobody from the company ever notified us that our items will be put into storage. After our belongings didn't arrive on the dates we were expecting, we made several phone calls and was told that they had no idea when the items will be delivered. After several phone calls and a complaint to the Better Business Bureau, we were finally told that our items were actually in the storage. And that was because "you were not available for us to deliver it the very next day". Moreover, since nobody else is moving to Alabama, they can't deliver my items to us and they have no idea when we will have our belongings.
They also stated in their response to our BBB complaint that "the costumers should know that their items will be put into storage since they are not going to be available for delivery the next day".
After a phone call explaining that they are in violation of federal laws for failing to disclosing the need to put my shipment into storage and the location of the storage, the manager now lied to me and said that the driver did call me to notify me. When I told her I had never received that phone call, she told me that the driver called my fiancee and talked to him about it, which they had not.
When I told them that I have have my father go pick my items up instead of waiting for them without knowing when they will be delivered, the manager told me that it would not be possible since the items were on the road with the driver and would be delivered within the week. Then when I called back by the end of the week, I was told that no, the items were not with the driver. Instead, they have never left the storage facility.
It took 39 days for my items to be delivered. Through out this time, I was never notified the location where my items were stored. I was told repeatedly that this is all because of our own fault. And I was lied to on numerous occasions. I will most definitely NOT deal with this company, and will not wish this company on my worse enemy. Please do not ever use this company. |
