| Review: | I hired this mover as they moved my friends home. so trusted i called in for personall estimtion and they gave me $4000 .
sine i have babies i asked them to pack for my whole stuff and they told about $1000 or about 65boxs
on the pickup date the foreman come with only 2 guys around 12. i showed him what to pickup . after the tour, he got sign from me on several papers. there are rates for different size boxes. i didn't give attention but i rely on 65 boxes which wuld be around $1000 packing cost.
he told they will finsh by 6-8pm and we should not interfere inside house. so i stayed outside of home all the time with my kids. they were packing and packing at 8pm, they told it will take anothe hour. at 9pm again they ask foranoher house. i took my kids o drop them in my friendsplacve and came back at midnight they just finished and he told they packing cost is $6000+. i was really shocked. henever bother to inform about cost running out of estimate. at 6pm afer completing first floor he told it is about $2000. i didn't have much thing in 2nd
floor. i asked how come the cost shoot up to $6000. he told it was his mistake on calculate.
i couldn't think much as i have to rush for my flight , i paid $6000 check and waited for my stuff to come. again trouble started. they told they put stuff in 2 trucks and they would made sure i will have atleast one bedding ready from 1st truct
on the destination, they didn't have any thing complete. they got another 1000 and unload. lot of boxes had no marking where it was packed from. horable service
i even tolarated, 2nd batch come in and they took all the money before unloading and there was only one driver who was unloading, he put beds but he told he cannot fix a kids bed, crib, shelf , bike etc and told that i should wait for another driver to show up
i called the office next day and asked for when everything will be assembled. they don't have an answer. i left message to owner directly and he refused to take my call and let it to go vm.
i really fed up
here are problems
1. wrong estimation. it was out of my budge by 3 times
2. during packing no update on how much it is going to ask (owner says foreman can only work not to tell how much it is costing).
i don't understand this part. if the estiamtes going out of control, what is the point in asking for a quote or estimate.
3. they did not bring everything in one truck. they don't know how much big truck space to order it
4. they never fulfilled their promise about setting up beds on first batch
5. boxes were not marked about source rooms
6. boxes are filled with packing papers and wasting space and increasing number of boxes
7. packed to leakable items
8. took long long time to pack the things. don't know how many people needed for single family home move(they prepared for a single bed room apartment)
9. 2nd driver didn't finish all the assembly
10. no replies to my calls about final assembly
don't take this people for service. otherwise keep lot of money , ready to be stay outside of home..
