Our move was pretty simple, pick up our belongings from a storage unit in Troy, Michigan and deliver to another storage unit in Mesa, Arizona but considering the fact that our items had been in storage for over 2 years (my husband is in the armed forces) and our items were placed in the unit by friends that helped us put it in there, nothing at all was actually packed in boxes which made it difficult in the fact that everything had to be placed in boxes and we knew that the price would be MUCH higher than just a standard move. We were estimated to have over 100 boxes to be packed which accounted for roughly $2,500 of our initial price and the storage facility could not allow a tractor sized truck access the units which made it difficult because the movers had to rent a smaller u-haul sized truck and essentially do the move twice, well one and a half times I guess. Our original estmate was for $5,450.00 but we recieved a very pleasant call from the dispatcher saying that not only was the weight significantly less but they did a whole lot less packing!!!! We were ecstatic to say the least and that our total was nearly $700.00 less than originally quoted was the very best thing that could have happened considering that like everyone else in the country, money has been tight. I would say that the fact that NOBODY was there to view the loading or packing process it would have been easy for them to say that they did way more packing or even the original amount of packing and gotten away with it but considering the fact that they still charged us much less goes a long way for us as far as honesty. I loved what they did for us and when our items arrived they were in the samecondition as we remember them when they were placed in the unit. I would definately recommend this company and to the little whiner that posted a review before us, I can't understand why people complain when their items showed up the same way as when it was moved and they weren't overcharged. Our experience was great and for that we are thankful for.
