I solicited moving bids/estimates from 5 different companies 3 of them being the large van lines in my area. The first moving bid came in at well over $25,000 while the second came in at $22,000. America's Moving Services bid came in at $17,000 for the exact same services as the first two while the last 2 were laughable in price at well under $15,000 which I knew was impossible and would surely pay for their errors in the end. I checked out all of the 3 companies that were in the running and based on everything I found my company decided on America's Moving Services to do my relocation. Their moving agent Walsh Moving & Storage came to do my actual move on Sunday February 22nd and 8 am ihey had set up packers prior to the move to come into my home and start the packing and the driver and 2 crew members arrived at around 2pm that day to assist with the packing and begin wrapping and loading my items. To my surprise this was the best and most professional bunch of workers I have ever seen. Not only professional but efficient, polite, and just a really good bunch of people that made me feel comforatable but also made me realize that I had chosen the best company to move everything I own and it is ALOT of stuff. Flat panel televisions were secured, everything was pad wrapped and delivery was literally quicker than I was. They held it for me on the same truck fro an additional 2 days until I arrived at no charge and sent 5 men to unload and place everything where it needed to be. I have read so many horro stories and considering the size of my move and the items that I have I was worried and truly scared to hire someone to do this however tyhe logistics made it impossible for me to do it myself and after all is said and done, if I ever have to move in the future and if anyone I know moves, america's moving will definately get those moves.
