Horrible moving experience

The owner of Shleppers Allen Golan, sent an email to his partner and staff about me. Unfortunately for him, he also sent it to ME! It was insulting, as he described our discussions (regarding price quote, was the highest price I was quoted, of 3) as a "love affair" he said in his emai that he resolved my complaint and we are now "friends". Love affair and friends were both in "quotes". I am a customer and it's insulting and embarrassing. I let Allen know that he also sent this email to me. He apologize for his stupidity in not removing my name from the list of recipients as it was meant for staff only. Ugghh! I wanted to cancel my move. However I wasn't able to hire a reputable mover for the date I needed, I was too late. Much to my chagrin, I had no choice but to use Shleppers. So the day of the move the 4 movers were over 1 hour late. It was raining and they trekked through my house with wet shoes on light carpeting! I had to ask that they remove their shoes while walking on the carpet after they already dirtied it. And I called the office and let Rick know that they were late and walking throughout the house and on light carpet with their wet dirty shoes. You would think they would be smart enough to wear booties. They were told by Rick that they were to stop and buy booties before arriving to my new property. They arrived at the property hours later! I can't even imagine what took them so long. I'm guessing they stopped for a leisurely lunch. It shouldn't have taken them more than an hour and a half. And they had booties this time, but now they were rushing to get the job done, Ignoring the fact that all of my boxes were marked with the room and level they belonged in. They were told to place boxes accordingly. However because they were in such a rush to get done with my move, they put everything in two rooms all on the 1st floor making their job easier and my job of unpacking much more difficult.ni tried to oversee but it was such a rushed commotion that I wasn't able to direct them. As of now, nothing is scratched or broken, but I still haven't completely unpacked. I can tell you that I will never, ever use Shleppers again, and I absolutely do not recommend them to anybody!!! They're customer service is awful. They're arrogant, rude, the workers are sloppy and they're overpriced. Don't wait for the last minute to find a mover and definitely do not use schleppers!!
