Everything went smooth till I placed an order after receiving quote from them based on itemized list provided by me. The estimate was based on 2000 pounds arrived by the company based on the list provided by me and if it goes over, they will charge me 0.50 cents per additional pound.
The driver and helper arrives with Budget Rental Truck and demanded $1700 instead of quoted $1025. Reason - in their opinion it was weighing more than 2000 pounds. They said they will not get the truck weighed in San Diego but only when they reach Los Angeles. It was a red flag right there but since I was sitting in Washington I could not do much. I called Ben and he negotiated with the driver to accept it for $1500.
Driver was rude and could not give any estimate on delivery.
No communication for 6 days.
They arrive on 7th day and asked for balance amount in cash before they would open the truck. (Fine lines in agreement).
I will recommend to keep away from them.
