I found them on yelp, I was a little hesitant to even consider them as a moving company based on the reviews I've read, but after speaking to their rep and him showing me some of the reviews on here about them are fake and from vindictive past employees (see below), I was directed to the reviews NOT recommended by yelp to see some real answers about how they operate. Still, hesitantly I kept them in the running because they were one of the few companies willing to come out and do an in-home estimate. They came in to my home, ***** was extremely helpful as explaining the entire process and walking me through my house while taking his inventory. They provided me with brochures, explained in dept certain items that would require special packing, we literally went over everything. Flustered from the barrage of phone calls from movers in Florida claiming to have trucks in my area, and the constant emails, I went with my gut and gave the bid to Movers Choice. The rate they told me at the inhome was the same rate I paid. They even swung a few extra days of storage in my direction at no cost.( I was already using the free 30 days of storage provided to secure a home in North Carolina.) They did a stand up job, and I was pleased to say the least, the only reason I did not give them 5 star is because delivery took a day longer than expected
People, do your homework. If you are afraid of a company up-charging you, MAKE them come to your home!
