The only thing G&G is best at is lying to you, trying to screw you and the worst customer service you will ever see in your life. My nightmare started the day of pick up... I had 2 locations to pick up from. A storage unit and my home. I was quoted a price of 1800 for the move, I took a number of items off of their inventory list that dropped the price to 1500. Well after they had all of my boxed/packaged items on the truck ready to leave, the driver comes in and tells me that there is more volume than I was told... Over $900.00 more. Since I already had paid for my airline ticket to Florida, my hotel and car rental I was out of options. I paid the 50% "screw you fee" since I had no other choice. My car was picked up by another carrier (thank god) 4 days later and the next day my plane left to Florida. After checking into my hotel and getting things set I get a call from G&G worst ever movers and was asked if it was okay for my things to leave California the next day.... To say I was shocked was an understatement since they had now had my things for almost a week and that it left 3 days for them to get me my things on time (Pick up date was picked by Alex the sales lady) in order to get things to Florida when my condo was ready. After being told my only options were to accept that my things would be way late, or they could take my things off the loaded truck and I could make other arrangements.... But I would still be out all collected monies $1800.00 at this time. Well all I could do was now pay for 5 more nights in a hotel and all other associated costs that came with it.
My things finally arrived 5 days later than promised and now the rest of the hell comes.
I had some of my very expensive furniture damaged very badly, a $250.00 fishing rod snapped in half and my tool bag full of my work tools had been STOLEN and did not make it to me.
Bottom line on their "Great Customer service" They offered me less than the weight value on the items which would not even replace the broken fishing rod... Which they first claimed they would not pay for since I packed the rods. Well they were wrong again. The movers wrapped them in a blanket, wrapped them with plastic wrap and I made sure they even wrapped a towel around the end to make sure they would not be damaged., after fighting with them on this they agreed to pay more money... a whopping 12.00 to pay for my 250.00 fishing rod.
The furniture they damaged cost me over $3500.00 to purchase ( I still have the receipts). G&G was not interested in seeing them. To end this nightmare, the damages and stolen items cost over $4200.00 dollars to replace, After fighting for over 3 months with this company of thieves my claim was settled for get this.... $280.00. After the claim was settled and I was stalled with, lied to and totally ignored, my check finally arrived 4 and a half months after my move in date.
I can not warn you enough about this company and the low class liars that work for them. If I had to do all over again, I would have moved my stuff by myself and saved the heartache that is G&G worst mover.
Please consider yourself warned. Read all reviews about these cheats and find any other move in the world to handle your personal belongings during this stressful time in your life. They will only make it the worst experience in your lifetime.
