I used Avis Express to move from California to Oregon. Not sure how they have so many positive reviews. They were late to pick up in CA and later to deliver in OR. Nothing went right except everyone was generally friendly-which I do appreciate. Mattresses and a few other items were missing upon arrival. Thye require to pay before unloading which is totally ridiculous because then you have no recourse should they lose or break stuff. Oh wait, there is insurance (Moving Claims.net) which I had to use since a number of items were missing. They might have been worse than Avis to deal with. Three months later, the offered me pittance for the value of my stuff. I would strongly encourage using another moving company. Don't let their alluring quote up front fool you into thinking you will be getting a good deal. You will not!
